Sandwich biscuits

Continental Bakeries has a strong position in the market of sandwich biscuits. They play a large role in the diversification of products in the two ever-growing segments of the international sandwich biscuits market:

• Roll packages
  The sandwich biscuits can be packaged in rolls of 250, 300, 350 and 500 g. The product is made in the flavours chocolate and vanilla, the percentage of cream-filling can vary from 25% to 46%.
• Bags and portion packages
  In addition to the rolls, the sandwich biscuits are also available in portion packages (bags) with a different content. The products in the bags are packaged per piece and can be chocolate glazed.
  The portion packages contain five mini sandwich biscuits per roll and there are five rolls in one package. The products are also appropriate for children because they contain extra calcium and grains and have funny characters on the package.

Shortcake biscuits

The portfolio of shortcake biscuits is varied; the different products landed Continetal Bakeries a strong position in the European market of shortcake biscuits.

• Shortcake biscuits
  Shortcake biscuits can be made in many different shapes, including round, rectangle and as an aureole. In addition to the different shapes, the product can also be made with or without chocolate, and with a strawberry filling, for example. The shortcake biscuits are available in 150, 175, 250, 300, 400 and 1000 g packages of foil, boxes or in (special) tins.
• Shortcake biscuits with butter
  Shortcake biscuits with butter are available in the same variations as the shortcake biscuits. However, with this product real butter is used which gives the cookies a real creamy flavour.

Wafer products

Continental Bakeries has a wide product range in wafers. The assortment includes the following products:

• Standard wafers
  Some examples of the standard wafers are penny wafers, Viennese shortbread wafers and chocolate or vanilla wafers. These products can be packaged in foil and plastic trays and are available in different sizes, shapes and weights. Different flavours are available for the filling of the wafers, including vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut, fruit, milk and cappucino.
• Icecream wafers
  Icecream wafers can be made in different shapes, including heartshaped, rectangle or triangle. The products can be packaged in foil, boxes or (special) tins. Additionally, large assortment packages are available for the consumer and wholesale.
• Wafer rolls
  These wafers are available in a natural and a chocolate or vanilla flavour. The wafers can be filled with a delicious hazelnut cream. The products are available in small and large packages, appropriate for the private consumer and/or wholesale.

Spiced biscuits
For spiced biscuits there are various recipes, with or without almonds. The products are packaged in bags or boxes of 200, 400 or 600 g. It is also possible to package these products individually or per portion.

(Tea) biscuits
The assortment of (tea) biscuits varies from a natural basic biscuit to a delicious butter biscuit. The products can be packaged in foil or in plastic trays and the packages are available in varying weights.

Aktivgebäck
Aktivgebäck is a crispy biscuit with whole seeds and oat flakes, available in different varieties. Some varieties are sunflower seeds & currants, chocolate, pumpkin seeds, cornflakes or cornflakes & raspberries. The product is sold in bags of 200 grams, closed with a clip.

Flan cakes 
In general there are two different kinds of flan cakes: There is a triple layer cake of 400 g (natural or with cocoa) and flans of 200 g or 300 g. The 400 g version is used for cream cakes of different layers, the 200 g and 300g are mostly used to be garnished with fresh or canned fruit. Both varieties are individually packed. 

Lebkuchen 
Lebkuchen is a delicious seasonal product based on a long tradition. There are the well known shapes ‘Stars, Hearts and Pretzels' that are either covered with milk or dark chocolate. Different Lebkuchen products are the filled gingerbreads- those come with different marmalade fillings, such as plum or cherry.
A real specialty is the Hexenhaus or the Schneehäuschen, which are small houses that are to be assembled in a do-it-yourself kit. That is the most fun for families and small kids at Christmas time!

Oat flake cookies
The sweet oat flake based cookies are made of top quality ingredients, which are all vegetable. Next to healthy oat flakes pure Belgian chocolate is used to decorated the cookies. The cookies are available single packed, in luxury boxes of 125 - 175 g and in family packs of 600 g. Variants in this range are double chocolate, orange and coconut cookies.
