History
Auer Blaschke is a combination of two traditional Austrian companies. Blaschke was founded in 1902 as a small bakery. Since 1921, the well-known "Original Blaschke Kokoskuppel" is produced, a recipe that remains unchanged since 1921. Auer originated in 1920. Over the years, two large wafer assortments were developed, on one side the icecream wafer assortment and on the other side, the well known Auer "Tortenecken" and "Baumstämme".
In 1997 the companies merged and in 1998 Auer Blaschke became part of the Continental Bakeries group.
