History

The factory originated in 1957 in Solingen-Ohlings as Krombach. Back then Krombach was well known as a "Mountainous" cake factory. Over the years, the Krombach family has made it into a modern facility and in 1963 the company moved to Solingen. Sales focused more and more on all of Germany and Austria. During the years 1999-2001, a large renovation has taken place and efficiency has strongly increased and more space was created for a large warehouse for finished products. Since the take over by Continental Bakeries/Hagemann in 1993, the most innovative production lines are used to produce products for various European countries.

Products

Different kinds of shortcake biscuits, coconut macaroons and chocolate glazed cookies are produced in Solingen.
