Grabow / Arnstadt / Kühren
History
In 1835 the first bakery in Grabow has been funded where baked goods, pretzels, waffles, and spice nuts are sold in an own shop and on market stalls. In 1902 the bakery was renamed and production was done by using electric and gas motors. The company started to deliver to large cities and even exports. In 1945 the company was managed by a trust fund and in 1951 it became a public property. Since then they specialized further in chocolate kisses and later also ice-cream wafers, soft wafers, and biscuits. From 1997 Grabower Süsswaren GmbH has taken over many production lines and companies. Since 2010 the company is part of Continental Bakeries B.V..

The several production locations are specialized in soft waffles, waffles, chocolate kisses, baked biscuits, and knäckebröd.
