History

The Rice Cake Factory was founded in 2006 as a joint venture between two rice cake manufacturers: Grain Cake Bakery Co. (Geraadsbergen, Belgium) and Lima (Maldegem, Belgium). Both companies with a wealth of experience in rice cake production. With over 40 years of know-how, Lima was the first company to introduce and produce rice cakes in Europe. Grain Cake Bakery is founded in 1990, since when it has supplied a wide variety of rice cakes to many international customers. The rice cake production of both companies has moved to the new factory in Ghislenghien in 2006.

Products

In Ghislenghien, a divers assortment of rice cakes is produced. This assortment consist of plain rice cakes, rice cakes with salt, rice cakes with a flavoured coating (such as cheese, chocolate, yoghurt or apple/cinnamon) and biological rice cakes. Furthermore, small rice cakes can be produced with different flavoured coatings.
